Lotte Van Gelderen
User Experience Researcher

I’m Lotte, a User Experience Researcher who loves figuring out what makes people tick and turning those insights into better experiences and smarter product decisions. I bring a research-driven, strategic perspective to UX, helping teams understand their users, align around a direction, and turn complex problems into clear opportunities. I’m naturally curious, collaborative, and always happy to bring a little enthusiasm (and a lot of questions) to the table.

At Akendi, I work across B2B, B2C, and SaaS projects in areas including healthcare, fintech, and government. My work sits at the intersection of research, design, and strategy: I help teams understand their users, make sense of complex problems, align around a direction, and turn research into practical product and experience decisions. I enjoy working across the full process, from research and workshops through to journey mapping, information architecture, wireframes, and iterative design.

Outside of client work, I enjoy mentoring and sharing what I’ve learned with the next generation of UX professionals. I’m a Program Advisory Committee member at Humber College and regularly participate in student portfolio reviews and project playbacks. I’m a big believer that good UX comes from curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to keep learning.
